Senior Account Director/Team Leader
Are you a bright and confident communications professional with a history of successfully building brands and reputations, ready to develop further with a role that combines leadership and account management?
Are you a self-motivated and driven multitasker with a passion for business development, delivering great results and driving the cohesion that nurtures a great team?
McCo Group is a leading strategic communications agency with offices in Adelaide, Melbourne and Geelong, and we are now looking for an experienced Account Director and Team Leader for our Adelaide HQ.
We work with a broad and diverse range of clients across portfolios such as major events, property development, education, disability and not-for-profit, local Government, renewable energy, design and engineering, entertainment and hospitality, and viticulture to name but a few!
We’re looking for a practitioner with strong agency experience, looking to take the next step up to managing a great team, while still staying in daily touch and working closely with a select group of clients.
You need to be a strategic thinker with exceptional spoken and written communication skills, have an insatiable appetite for news and know what makes a good story with a track record of landing targeted pitches and out-of-the-box thinking.
Our new colleague will be a marketer and media relations expert with a healthy ‘can do’ attitude, who works well both in teams and independently, and is determined to continuously identify and secure opportunities for clients and the business alike.
What you’ll bring to the table
You have previous experience in setting and managing budgets and creating and delivering high-level marketing communications campaigns designed to achieve exceptional results.
To be successful, you’ll enjoy thinking on your feet and thrive on identifying opportunities to further develop and enhance the overall capacity of the business.
You’ll be a people person with substantial experience in the agency environment and demonstrated skills as an exceptional client relationship manager and as a collaborative and respectful team leader.
Our part of the deal
We believe our team members deserve to be recognised and valued, which means culture and environment are every bit as important as the dollars. There’s also the vibrant-but-relaxed Adelaide lifestyle with affordable housing, beautiful beaches and the Barossa just up the road.
We offer a truly flexible workplace with benefits tailored to the individual needs of our staff.
From professional development to remote access, compressed weeks to staggered working hours, everything is up for discussion – and we also think everyone deserves to have their birthday as a day off for a little celebration
