Leigh launched the McCo Group as McClusky & Co in 2008 following a 30 year career in print, radio and television journalism across Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

Her passion for the communications industry and for delivering high end results is apparent in every meeting and every exchange both with clients and with her team.

Since establishing McClusky & Co – now re-launched as the McCo Group – Leigh has consistently delivered proven and awarded results for a broad range of clients.

Leigh’s success stems from her extensive knowledge and experience and is further enhanced by her commercial, government and media contacts, and her ability to think strategically and creatively.

As Senior Account Manager, Alice leads the delivery of communications campaigns and activities for a broad range of clients.

With consulting expertise encompassing a broad range of industries, she continues to deliver outstanding results in the not-for-profit, community, health, education and construction sectors.

Alice’s extensive skills combined with her genuine understanding of her clients’ needs make her a highly effective operator.

Originally from the UK, Sally achieved outstanding success during her time with the BBC and TNT UK Ltd before spending four years in communications for one of the UK’s largest financial institutions.

Now settled with her family in Australia, Sally has worked in the education and health sectors.

As a member of the McCo team, she brings her extensive PR, media relations, project management and communications skills to our team.

Her attention to detail and her interpersonal skills make Sally a vital cog in the day to day workings of the McCo office.

Passionate about delivering communication outcomes that meet business objectives, Jo delivers results through engagement, leadership and a collaborative approach to planning and delivery.

She has experience in a range of sectors including health, the environment, agriculture and primary industries, education, R&D, finance and profit-for-purpose.

With experience across Australia in urban and regional locations, and internationally, Jo brings the ability to deliver effective results based on her knowledge of people, places and business, and a determination to do it well.

Jo is an internationally accredited business communicator (ABC), a designation earned from the International Association of Business Communicators and representing the highest standard of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Jessica Gabites is a journalist and PR communications specialist with 20 years of experience in the industry.

Based in Geelong, Jessica joined McCo Group in Adelaide in 2013.

Her media and communications experience covers print media (daily newspapers and magazines), government and private public relations consultancy.

 During her career in Geelong and Adelaide she has provided support for a variety of industries from not-for-profit organisations to manufacturing businesses and international sporting events.

Jessica has a passion for writing. She also has a very strong news sense and knowledge of the media industry developed over 10 years as a journalist for News Limited and as a freelance writer.

Kristy brings more than 20 years’ experience in broadcast and online content production to the McCo Group.

A born organiser, she provides our clients with her video producing and social media skills, and advice in online content and methods of delivery.

Acquiring extensive TV production skills during a long career at the ABC and now embracing new methods of content delivery, Kristy has the ideal combination of story telling abilities and technological knowledge.

With a long list of television and online credits to her name, Kristy is passionate about the online space and now works as a conduit between our clients and the complexities of the digital realm.

Carolyn is the person behind the scenes who keeps everything on track.

Having joined the business in 2012 she brings more than 30 years of valuable administrative experience to the McCo Group.

As Administration Manager, Carolyn calls on her wealth of knowledge and experience on a daily basis, making sure all cogs continue turning.

As the manager of day to day finance and administration responsibilities Carolyn coordinates those duties across McCo offices in Adelaide, Melbourne and Geelong, and supplements them with extensive skills in project management, service delivery and records management.

Carolyn’s strengths lie in her attention to detail, strong organisation skills and proactive approach to new challenges.
